Loving God, Loving People

By God’s grace we long to be a church which loves God and loves people.

Loving God

Christianity is not about religion, but relationship with the living God. In Jesus Christ he pays for our wrongdoing and freely forgives all who trust in Jesus, accepting them as his sons and daughters. He is love and in response to his love for us we want to learn to love him and to live for him:

Loving to listen to what he says in the Bible
Loving to praise him and to tell other people about him
Loving the work of his Holy Spirit in our lives

Loving People

Experiencing the love of God transforms us to reflect his love as we learn to love other people too. A church, a Christian family, is where God, by his Spirit, will grow our love for him and for others; making us more like Jesus.

We love to welcome and include everyone
We love to help people to get to know God better
We love to bless our community, wherever we can
